Who do you think is more athletic for a DE in a 3-4, Carlos Davis or Mick Stoltenberg? Seems like Carlos could be a better fit for NT and Mick DE, I'm sure to be wrong. I think we will be pleasantly surprised with the DL especially with Freedom and Stille.

If that's the case I would not be surprised to see 3-4 starters being StilleDE, CarlosNT, and FreedomDE.
I hope Freedom A has a breakout year because he sure hasn’t accomplished much since he has been here..
Daishon Neal always looked like he had a bunch of potential maybe we see signs of it this fall.

Freedom A started his career off strong... he had several sacks in his first few games and then nothing since. He lost some speed he needed as he bulked up so much.
Yeah he was definitely better when he was playing undersized a bit. He lost a lot of speed when he bulked up.

So what has happened to D. Thomas? He was playing half the snaps at DT last year. Has he not progressed like others?
Chinandee said picking the top 6-7, for more practice reps, will not be easy. We have solid 10 deep.
Tuco, how do we plug in the LBs with your 3-4 lineup?
Curious to see what kind of starting 7 we have up-front. Realize it is still just a touch early, but appreciate where you project starting front 7 personnel at this stage.

Depends. Maybe Stille is at OLB.
Essentially, a 4-3 if Freedom is inside and Ben puts his hand in the dirt, which makes more sense to me, given our personnel.

P.S. Barry is pretty good. Makes 5 to start 4. I think those are the best 5 Lbs, unless Dixon has moved positions???
Ferguson, Dixon and Gifford are all OLB. So only 2 will start. Barry, Honas and Young are the top 3 ILB. So 2 of them will start. Gifford and Dixon are playing the same side of the field while Ferguson and A Davis are on the opposite side.
I don't know much about Ferguson, but Gifford has good speed. Decent pass rusher too.
