lol what planet do you live on? Regarding your insane claims, congressional Repubs and Trump are obviously unfit to lead. You all can't get anything done despite controlling congress and the White House yet you complain about it and make a very weak Milhouse attempt to blame it on Dems. smh [eyeroll]

Duh. You're not implying that we don't import energy as well are you? The U.S. exporting energy is not news.
In 2016, the United States imported approximately 10.1 million barrels per day (MMb/d) of petroleum from about 70 countries. Petroleum includes crude oil, natural gas plant liquids, liquefied refinery gases, refined petroleum products such as gasoline and diesel fuel, and biofuels including ethanol and biodiesel. About 78% of gross petroleum imports were crude oil.

Honestly, it is time to take the lead and do the things he campaigned on. Leadership. Negotiator. You have been determined to be the actual president. Get some of your promised bills passed - tax reform; health care; economy; jobs; fix a few roads; transportation. There is a hell of a lot that needs your leadership in passing. This is what you ran on. To hell with media as long as you have your direct access. 4 years is not a long time to do the things you campaigned on considering the opposition. Quit the campaign, already. Lead.

That was a huge embarrassment for the country last night. He stood there in front of the camera for the whole world to see and lied about what he actually said on 12 August. He attacked the media again. He lied about sherrif joe "doing his job." The guy broke the law. He was convicted. He was voted out of office by his own constituents. He lied about no protestors being there. It was funny as hell; as he was actually saying that, the media went to a live split screen with trump in one screen and the thousands of protestors outside shown in the other screen.

And for the big picture, he has the lack of intelligence to comprehend he is having a campaign rally the day after he announced additional troops to Afghanistan and the loss of 10 American Sailors.

This pretty well sums up my feelings. My issue is that I don't think he is capable. His MO is blunt force trauma and right now that isn't working with his own party's leadership.
