I remember a few years ago, some on this board felt like JS was making a big mistake by not taking these brothers . Three brothers if I remember correctly. How did they pan out at OU? I don’t remember seeing a lot about them.

I do not remember many thinking they would be good recruits. They were not. One has left wrestling altogether, one has gone from 174 to heavy weight with little success and the best Andrew is a 197 pounder with only limited success. We were lucky not to have invested any money into them. Does not mean they were not solid citizens and students but they were not good wrestling prospects.

All three are still wrestling with 2 at Ou and the other at UCO. With the coaching carousel at OU, not much, if any talent is developing. They lost last night to West Virginia 24-12.

Thankful I went to OSU. I don't think I would even follow wrestling had I gone to OU. Now if only we could beat OU at football a little more than once every 10 years or so. I remain hopeful though. OU wrestling has no hope. LOL

Don't write off OU as they are throwing money at wrestling. We really need to get more private funding into wrestling from our fans.
