Hobbs/Barchi either **** or get off the pot. Invest or leave the Big 10. There is no buts or excusea. Rutgers Is a laughingstock and this goes beyond Eddie Jordan and this current team. I have never left a game at halftime before. This is rock bottom. Purdue fans are audibly at this program. It is time to come out of hiding and finally the program has been **** on for years and announce a plan to fix it

I now watch this team to see their futility. It is the thing there is to see at this point.

Eddie Jordan is the luckiest coach in America. $1MM+ to produce absolutely nothing.

I would love to see one of their practices. It must like a bungling mess of nothing productive.

The team is so compromised at this point that I try not to watch. Just checked it was 101-55! I bet Purdue's regulars did not get normal minutes tonight either. There is no end in sight to these type of outcomes.

I actually agree with this now. It would be absolute thievery for Jordan to be paid to continue to coach here next year. He'll step away. I just wish there was some way to expedite it.

Something has to be done and it does look like the first thing is find a HC that can fix the program or at least point it in the right direction.
Thois is the closest I've been to feeling Jordan isn't capable of making RU a winning program or at least get it headed in the right direction.

Losses like RU has been having is not just because of a depleted roster.:mad:

Carl Kirschner could have hired a guy for 400K for the same results and recruits and it might have been better. He didn't need to spend a million more

$400k?! ****. A high school coach willing to take $150K would be a massive upgrade. His recruiting is horrendous. HIs coaching is worse.

They really didn't think this through. $1MM+ is incredible for what Eddie is producing.

Amazingly, he is putting more stink on this program than Rice ever did.

The program has a stench and probably needs to be gutted entirely.

The best player in the team comes out of the locker before gametime is 1st in line and gives himself an alley op. He comes out in the 2nd half and is dancing to the music.

I got there early and team is doing defensive stance drills going through the motion standing straight up not remotely in a proper defensive stance.

We have a game on Thursday and Sanders is playing the entire 2nd half, practically penetrating every possession dominating the 3rd team. I'd think that would be an opportunity to maybe make an effort to get His teammate Goode off.

Forget defense....offensively the ball stuck in the hands of sanders and Daniels. When Williams finally touches the ball he forces a 22 footer.

If I knew I was going to get pounded inside I'd do my best to get some ball pressure and at least make it difficult for guards and wings to get ball in to post. 0 turnovers in 1st half and 4 in total.

OK to be beat on the boards by a decent margin. 63-22? Un heard off. We were getting slapped around with the 3 big guys out of the game.

Again I have to disagree with you, $250,000 should be the going rate to coach a team like RU is playing and even then RU would be paying too much.

Corey dunked during warmups but the refs weren't on the court...and the silly sidebraid, you have to be kidding me with that given how horrible this product is

Righhhttt..but isn't every loss rock bottom for U? So what Big Coach is coming in here to turn this around? RU upping your donations to pay for this "big time" coach? Doubt it

Hard to defend this game but what did you expect against 3 seven footers. Only way to compete was to outshoot them from 3 by making 8-10 more. Instead they hit 10 and we hit 2. Grier, Mike, Goode , Corey , missed wide open 3's . Unless they gang rebound they will look like this. 63-23 is almost unheard of and 27-5 on the offensive glass.
Purdue is an excellent coached team that moved the ball without hardly ever dribbling. When they dumped to the post they were bigger and got layups or rebound put backs. When we tried to sag into the post they dished it out for 3. I guess if the guys tried a little harder the margin might have been 40 instead of 50. But if the players on the court do not play better with this depleted roster , not a whole lot any coach could do.
