The team is 2 stars and a bunch of below average players. Dylan and Ace will single hardly win them a bunch of games but against decent completion it will be very difficult with the supporting case Pike out around them. Glad he listened to a 17 year old average center and didn’t bring in a legit center.

Too early to make any rash proclamations about where the team will be in March. But the warnings signs are there. Which is crazy to say given that our two top 3 recruits are as good (if not better) than advertised
We will make the tourney. We played better in these last two games against top 20 teams than we have all year. Are we there yet, no, but I have confidence that we will continue to get better and win enough games to get in. We have two stars and J will has found his game. We need other guys to get better on their roles and learn to close out games but the two teams we lost to have much older and experienced teams than us. Not an excuse but just reality. Still, two blown chances at huge resume wins

What did people expect Pike to do when both of his big men were fouled out with 4+ minutes left. We had the ball in the hands of a top 3 draftee up 1 with under 2 minutes to go. We then had the ball in the hands of another top draftee down 2. At some point, elite players need to make baskets late in the game.

There are coaching issues on offense and defense in addition to the lack of bench scoring.Above all else the lack of 3 point scoring makes it very difficult to get a double digit lead.
