It favors schools that finish deep in NCAA Tournaments. Stanford is great to elite at pretty much everything.

Michigan had a great year.
They really had a great fall and winter.
Even in the spring where they are not usually strong they were somewhat decent.

I tell the people in the SEC that B1G money is making a difference but the SEC crowd will twist and turn anything to their advantage.
SEC is falling behind the B1G. ESPN wasted too much money on their channel. B1G network is low budget and doesn't have much overhead but people still watch.
Their network is ran a lot better.
