Gabriel can really throw the deep ball. He bails from the pocket way too early and often for my liking and doesn't throw great when doing so.

Yeah, but we are stuck with him at least one more year… at least his buyout decreased……

😉
He starts winning, he isn't going anywhere no matter how much you hate his guts. If he's winning and retained and you don't like it? You know where the proverbial door to the fanbase is and don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya. If you opt for that, stay the fk out as this fanbase won't need someone like you that will at that point have proven to be one of the many stenches of this fanbase.

Frost has now hired dudes that can both coach and develope and all have that old school mentality living in the modern world of college football playing the modern game.

This offense is gonna be a combination of both Frost and Whipple's philosophies as they pretty much have the same philosophies already and that was why he was Frost's guy from the beginning as he was the guy that wasn't really heard about up until a few days before he was hired. He was Frost's guy from day 1 after he fired his old staff.

Do you think Whipple is astute enough to recognize the future all-pro QB we have on the roster in Smithers … perhaps you oughta drop him a memo just to be safe

I guess we'll ending up seeing the QB developement to see if Verdu was nothing more than a quack.

To be fair nobody has any idea how Donovan will do at recruiting and developing played.

Time will tell I hope so. But he has not accomplished anything to make me think it's a home run by any means
What he needs to do is teach and instill nastiness in these linemen, something that has been missing for A LOT of years and he has older brother Dom's attitude. We were all questioning how Tuioti was gonna pan out and look how that chance on a Poly turned out.

Whipple will identify the type of QB who best fits the scheme they come up with. Personally I think Rattler is the best fit with Brennan and Gabriel coming afterwards.

He took over for Milton when he went down with that brutal compound fracture and while Dillon was good he wasn't Milton which was very evident.
He was also a very young QB when he took over. I think he looked good for no college experience. I was wishing we had him when I saw him play.

What he was awesome. In 2020 he threw 32 TD to 4 INT, with 3,600 passing yards.
