DittoI was big advocate for GS 2.0.....but the game changed with NIL and GS is not capable of adapting to the new world.
Time to move on.
KC is competent but hamstrung by GS’s boundaries. He knows what a screen pass is. He knows what misdirection is. just like Gleeson, he knows more than we all know but needs to stick to the mandated philosophy.I don’t think the problem is NIL. I think it’s that he can’t attract competent coaches. In order to get ciarocca he had to make him one of the top 5 paid OCs at the time.
Now with no one wanting to coach for him on defense anymore, combined with him being on a warm seat, who’s he going to get that has options?
Shelby doesn’t understand that Rutgers doesn’t have the linemen to execute misdirection and screens. He only parrots what other people write on the messageboard. Rutgers Linemen are slow and lumbering. You need linemen who are quick, agile, and can mow down defenders in space. Look at the way, Oregon’s Guard knocked our defender out of his jock. That’s what we need, but don’t have.KC is competent but hamstrung by GS’s boundaries. He knows what a screen pass is. And do you think the special teams coaches know what punt and kick returns are ? Get it ? See the common denominator ? It‘s the buffoon in charge.
Completely incorrect. These are exactly what can help our inferior line play, exploiting the D’s speed and aggressiveness.Shelby doesn’t understand that Rutgers doesn’t have the linemen to execute misdirection and screens.
