Pope might get Diallo because he’s not getting Wright, but he’s been out of the Stokes sweepstakes for a few months now!
Once again, he (his agent) kept UK around to squeeze KU for maximum $$$! If Diallo mattered in the recruitment, Self would be all over Diallo as well… He’s not!

Don't scoff! I think the Harrison Twins may have played at the same high school, so It's not like it is impossible...
So why Self not recruiting Diallo? If it matters and all? I’d say, doesn’t. I’d be shocked if we get Stokes, even if we get Diallo. Just my opinion anyway.

If Stokes was firmly committed to signing with Kansas, he would have done so already. I think the longer this goes on the less likely Kansas will be his destination.
I guess he could still pick KU, but every day that passes gives me hope. Self announced his return over a week ago. It has been shared on here that KU matched Kentucky’s offer…
So what is the hold up?
Makes me think Pope is working this behind the scenes with all he has to get this done.

"If" the Tyran Stokes recruitment is all about $$$ and Kansas being the leader why UK?.. why not Oregon. I would think Nike/the Phil Knight effect could outbid both UK/Kansas..
The Brand factor is in play and I would like to think Nike is really really, behind the scenes, is wanting this to be a win for a Nike school. Advantage UK!!.
