This is an article about St Johns but mentions this kid is the younger brother of the NBA's Danny Green. It also mentions "is being recruited hard by Rutgers.

Let's hope Eddie seals the deal. I don't think Eddie coached Danny but I am sure they know each other from being in the NBA as a player and coach.

For recruiting, if it doesnt happen for Eddie in Fall 2015, its not going to happen.

He must nail a couple of recruits that are legit B1G talent - and I dont mean Big South

ruman, not going to happen. What do you expect EJ to do given his past year record and lack of facility? Big recruits 9/10 times aren't happening here until we get wins and a pf. Just the facts. Hard pill to swallow, i know. I did it last week and i feel better today.

RUMAN lives in la la land.

He acts like the Mike Rice scandal never happened and that we already have B1G level facilities. Time is the only thing that is going to heal that BIG WOUND and time is needed to get better facilities....or at least an announcement of real plans to build one.

Facilities will help but a dynamic coach can overcome that at least short-term

we are recruiting mid-major talent because we have failed miserably to recruit higher level players. the only one Eddie recruited was Etou (and Sanders, though his grade issues made most of the power schools stay away, so getting him to sign means less than it otherwise would).

Put your money where your heart is - give to Scarlet R!

Manhattan- i also was in the bring in a coach boat. Still, we have EJ for a couple more years unless we buy him out. We don't have the funds to buy him out.

Ruman- If you show me the rutgers basketball team with a 20 win season and a practice facility- I will show you recruiting high majors. Until then, hang tight and being realistic helps everything.

We are a low mid major right now that is trying to take steps up. Those steps will be a lot shorter if we can win games.

If he's not recruiting well, and his coaching has been a question mark, what standard are we holding Eddie to? Not having a scandal? That's worth $1.2 mil a year? If you won't to defend EJ, and say it was not fair to expect much record wise the first two years, you may have a point. But if the arguement now is to expect nothing going forward, I'm not sure where you are going.

I never said to expect nothing. I am just saying, until we get a great coach or a practice facility, don't expect to get 4-5 stars here and a 18+ win season. I want to see improvement from EJ like everybody else. I also know we have to be realistic.

A practice facility means a lot because right now girls and guys are competing for court time. Less court time=less development.
