As GRF said above, you want to play - you need to defend well. This is Pike’s style and after a game like last night - the young guys will get it. Mag . Miller and Cliff have fully bought in. The others will as well

The biggest reason Rutgers won this game was Harper scoring 30 points. The key on defense was the poor 3 point shooting of Purdue which kept Rutgers in the game even though Purdue centers dominated inside.Pikiell did a great job with substituting players to keep the pressure on defense and keep players from fouling out.Rutgers also had to overcome highly questionable referree calls .The other main reason Rutgers won was the fan support which clearly unnerved Purdue players on their first game on the road.

Good call, Shack. Mag and Miller both huge contributors...and showed they will be part of the plans down the road.

If we can get back to Pike level intensity on D, then we can go on to have a very good season.

It all starts there.

Not worried about Miller's offense, our game plan starts with defense. Which he's got. Jaden will pick it up soon as well.

Pike's DNA is good defense and scoring in transition. Party why Jacob Young did so well. I can see Miller playing that role as he grows up and being a team captain before he's done. Can't believe they thought of redshirting the kid.

Miller could've made the difference in at least Lafayette and UMass. Man. Sitting at 7-2 or 8-1 now with no awful losses would've been nice... now we need to pound more nails.
