Then again when Missouri wanted to be a state.....yep, slavery. Then when California wanted to become a state....yep, slavery. Then when Kansas-Nebraska was being pushed as a territory for statehood because of the proposed Transcontinental RR....yep, slavery. So, slavery was the MAJOR cause of the Civil War. Economics....ahh....industry vs. agriculture.....ahh......small parts.</blockquote>
