Thank You for visiting. BBN really appreciates your initial interest in playing for UK. We both know the best decision for your future would be to play for our program. It appears you are having a difficult time choosing between the greatest basketball program in the world and 2 or 3 wanttabe’s. This should have been an easy decision given that fact, but you still regress.

We love our basketball players, Cal and UK. We also want kids that want to be a part of our great program. We expect our kids to make good decisions and perform well in class. We are concerned about your ability to perform well as a graduate student due to your inability to make such an easy choice when it’s right in front of you.

Due to your inability to make such an easy decision we have decided to move on and win our ninth NC without you. In closing, I’d like to offer my condolences to you and your family. VT, TN, AK, FL and any other program you may choose to play for this year will not get you into the NBA. Sorry about the bad news, but since your unable to make the obvious decision, I thought you should know the truth.

Good Luck Buddy,

Yours For A Minute

Maybe, just fed up with all the BS over a kid holding BBN by the nuts.

It’s a tough decision. He has time. Why rush? Would be good to get all the practice you can with your new team, but, let’s face it, the guy has played long enough to know what he is doing. Plenty of practice left and a long season to go.

Just go with the flow. And if it turns out he chooses to go elsewhere, just roll with the punches. Be a fun season either way.

No offense OP but it is you and others who have created the BS false timeline. KB nor ANY of his people has said he would announce last week, next week or during any of his visits. This was all crested in your head and thru false media hack wannabes.

Again, not personal to you specifically but it bothers me that some part of our fan base seems to feel they are entitled to some type of answer as to whether a kid is coming here. KB owes you or I or anyone else in the UK fan base an explanation or a timeline with regard to his decision.

It’s simply his and his families decision to make. I actually applaud him for not being a show off type of guy who is constantly back and forth on Twitter with look at me and conflicting narratives just to gain followers.

I am anxious as well. Would love him to come to UK and I can’t fathom why he would go anywhere else especially based on the list of schools that we have heard. But, I sure as hell aren’t gonna berate and question his intelligence just bc he isn’t following my false expectations and sense of entitlement.

Let the kid and his family sort thru this and let’s all hope they ultimately make what we all feel is the right choice to come to UK.

Also, what BS? The player and his family have been extremely private about this ordeal. If you want to be upset with anyone, which I highly recommend not doing, direct it towards “insiders” that are trying to speak on a topic they know nothing about.

Okay but apparently he does not know what he is doing or he would have been drafted. (If playing in the nba is what he was trying to do.) Other than that, GP...

You're not entitled to know what or when the kid makes a decision. No fan is. If it's bringing you so much anxiety go outside. Get a life.
The decision is easy for any UK fan. Give kids a break for heaven's sake.

KB, some in the BBN are whinney little entitled girlie men. Ignore them. Most are legit basketball fans. Come on down. Probably gonna be a nice ride. Cal told you the rest.

Oh, one side benefit at KY is laughing at the entitled girlie men.

Well I may be wrong but I think the op is saying what most of us feel. If he can't see that UK is the best school with the best Coach to get him into the NBA then lets get on with the player we have that WANT TO BE HERE. Just my opinion

I would say the exact opposite is probably true considering the numbers he has put up against elite competition. NBA drafts on potential, aka what you don’t yet know. Problem may be scouts see a “what you see is what you get” type deal. And what they see suits college basketball extremely well but may not translate to today’s NBA.

Just a thought.

Yes, if he doesn't choose UK after being no more than "found money" for our program, let's insult him and tell him and his family "condolences". smh.

I mean, they did practice today. Isn’t like Cal is halting all team activity until KB makes a decision.

It would be a good thought if nba scouts had not already told KB where and what he needs to work on. Hint; It is not what you state. I have stated it several times in other posts. The definition of lunacy is doing exactly the same thing while expecting a different result. If KB chooses to go back to VT or the other schools it is lunacy. (Except Maybe UF...and that is a reach as nothing there is a proven commodity.)

It wouldn’t have been so bad if the media hadn’t been tweeting things like “it’s done, announcing tonight or tomorrow” or......“I’m heading he’s decided and could announce before the weekend” or....“he’ll make his choice known by 10pm tonight”.

So this drama wasn’t created by him, it was created by others and we’re the ones hanging on it. It’s not like he and his family is purposely doing it and sitting back laughing.

I can understand your thinking. And I agree that coming to Kentucky would by far be the smartest route to the NBA. Cal has a proven track record and an unmatched desire to see his guys succeed at the next level. He is one that absolutely knows what he is doing.

If he doesn’t wind up here I would agree with you, based off what he is supposedly looking for in a team, that going to the schools you listed would be a mistake. But we have no way of knowing what goes on in people’s minds and what drives their decisions. If he feels something else is best for him, then I hope he makes a decision he doesn’t end up regretting. I will be bummed, sure, but that’s pure selfish desire to see my team succeed.

I just typed a lot more than I meant to lol

I am also a conservative and am 74 years old and I will stick with my opinions. If KB wanted to be here he should have made up him mind my now if he truly wants to play in the NBA. As other have pointed out if he could not make it at VT why would he want to play there again or Tenn. He needs to make a decision instead of dragging it out. Pick a school and start practicing with your team mates.

Dear Terry,

I am the biggest UK basketball fan on the world wide webs. I live and die with my Big Blue Balls. And those balls are all swolted up thinking about you being on Kentucky next year! I think youd be a really good player for us and will take us the next level. I know with you on our team we could go 40-0 and take down all the haters for reals. I hate Coach Rat Face and prays he dies in hell!!! Please be my new hero!!!

Love,

Me

KB has the right to take his time making a decision, of course. However, he does need to understand there are consequences of delaying his decision, too. For instance, if he’s going to be a Wildcat, he’s missing valuable bonding and practice time with his future teammates.

I’m wondering if there might be a point in time where Cal says “no thank you” to KB coming to UK? I believe there are legitimate team chemistry concerns if this goes longer than another week. Plus, if KB wants to be a leader on this team, he needs to show up sooner, rather than later. Otherwise, it seems unlikely for him to be accepted as a leader if he waits much longer.

I’m of the opinion that coming to UK is his best chance at getting a solid shot as the NBA. No other place gives him what he will get here.

Until he decides, and we figure out if Cal will or won’t pursue another big man....

That's the part SO MANY forget....the "consequences"... it seems no one ever wants to accept those. Just forgive and forget. (I can do that easily) (Those pesky consequences always seem to be in the way of good times.)

Does he even need to make any sort of public announcement? For all we know, we may not hear anything from the guy until he shows up on the campus of whatever school he finally picks.
