With Bannon's handling of Tenys and Rice's handling of Biruta, we may have permanently soured our Lithuanian connectionPlease recruit shooters. Guys like number 13 on Michigan.
Thank you.
He is a freshmen and clearly the best player on the court.Rutgers lack of 3 point shooters was compounded with the missed shots around the basket.Michigan has outstanding coaching and scoring threats at every position while Rutgers is so limited on offense that scoring 70 points is a remote occurrence .Please recruit shooters. Guys like number 13 on Michigan.
Thank you.
Mack was a shooter. He had no helpHaven't had once since Douby. Maybe he has a son?

Do you really believe that he doesn't know this? Please recruit shooters. Guys like number 13 on Michigan.

Pike absolutely DOES recruit shooters...kids that can shoot the lights out
Problem is....so do other schools
they get scholarships to schools that have really good teams
competing for championships
Diane, he's a 5 star player and yes he is a freshman, but that's a bit misleading. He's actually 20 years old.#13 is a Freshman from Canada, no less! Geesh. Guess too tall to play ice hockey? [pfftt]
Go RU!
Diane
This is true. They played together for one year there and according to the TV commentators they remain friends to this day.I believe he was Eugene's roommate at prep school in Canada.
Do you really believe that he doesn't know this?
Shooters are in high-demand, for obvious reasons. Pike will have to start winning recruiting wars to get them.

19-year old freshmen have pretty much become the norm. I haven't bothered to look it up but a high school coach recently told me that about half of the top 30 players in the country will be 20-year old freshman.Diane, he's a 5 star player and yes he is a freshman, but that's a bit misleading. Rivals had him ranked as a 5 star. Either way, we need a kid like this who can shoot from the outside and still have an inside game. We currently dont have anyone on the roster like him.Not according to 24/7. He is a 4 star composite. Ranked 40. Certainly a highly ranked kid, but not at that elite level. We need to recruit kids like this in this conference if we are going to win. He isn't unusual. Only to us.
He had a bunch of offers, but none at that elite level outside of Michigan.

Knowing about a problem hasn't worked at Rutgers when it comes to recruiting shooters.Schools that aren't even in a power conference have better shooters which concerns me more than trying to compete with schools in the B1G for recruits. The competition in the B1G is too strong to expect success solely based on defense .Losing seasons and no NCAA bids have been the end result for decades.Coach Pikiell and staff know what is needed and hopefully positive results will occur ASAP.We all realize. I think it simply needs to be reminded of because the problem isn't getting fixed. We don't have shooters. We need shooters. I am all in on Pike. He's a great coach and what we need. But the next step is bringing it people that can actually shoot.
So, are any on the way?
Presently we have zeroWhat shooters do we have on this roster?
Kiss, Geo, anyone? Nope.
Hoping that Mulcahy and the other new players next season can shoot better than this crew.
