Dave 49 wins 80 losses 38% wins Phillip 41 wins 51 losses 45% Does anyone see the similarities in total games coached here not considered wins by Dave over Ou osu tam Iowa etc Phil has no p5 wins to date? He makes 1.7 mill a year or 13.6 mill during the last 8 years with 51 loses to date and only 41 wins.

Rader was always handcuffed by the admin. Rarely did he have the depth to compete, plus he competed as an independent for most of his career. Dave could ambush good teams at the start of the year with a healthy team but by the end of the year there were body bags on the sidelines...

He really got handcuffed when Donaldson essentially eliminated the HPER major and made it harder for transfers and JUCOs to come in and graduate in 2 years. It really did a number on Rader's recruiting to fill in some gaps. Had he been around when Lawless OK'd the new HPER equivalent major that had elements designed by the Education dept. and the nursing dept., I think Rader rights the ship. His offensive mind was special and he was a QB whisperer...along the same lines as we saw with Kragthorpe.
