I just read that Darrion Daniels, older brother of Damion Daniels, will be grad transferring to play at Nebraska this year.

Apparently he’s 6’3”, 320lbs, and was a 4* out of high school.
Started as a junior, but only played a few games this past year due to a hand injury.

Coaches must be expecting a lot of attrition this offseason. Sounds like we could sign 30 recruits plus add a few more transfers. Will be interesting to see how we make room for that many new guys.

Experience at a position of need, good. A guy who has been in the trenches, even the Big12 trenches is a good thing. Finishing his career with his “little” brother sounds great. Hope he has a great season and can bring toughness, talent and teaching to the Defensive Line group.
I would think graduating in December would mean he will be here for spring. At least that is how I'm reading it.

Daniels is a big time pickup. Two sets of brothers on DL next year. The Doube D’s.. Daniels/Davis is gonna bring it.

Is a talent, and if healthy, could be the best DL on the team next year. Played as a true frosh, but has had bad luck on the injury front. Missed the final three games last season and had a season ending finger injury this year. Nice pickup.

Having a guy like this in the middle and being able to keep Carlos at DE is huge.

Always thought Neal would be a very good lineman for us but he has never bloomed in too that kind of player yet..

That's a really good add, and a year of more strength and conditioning will only make that D-Line better. Sucks that Lovie was retained. Could have had a few more transfers.
For all those worried that Coach Frost doesn’t care about defense, I think you’re seeing a LOT of attention on stocking the cupboards with size on the defensive side of the ball.
