A bit premature possibly, but I personally like the way Troy has been running things since he got here. Maybe one of you journalists can do a piece on Troy's first year impact on Husker Sports etc. I get the feeling he's doing a better job than maybe the past 3 AD's combined. (Alberts, Moose, Eichorst)

Nebraska would probably be the one school where the AD would actually screw the school out of an invitation.

Doesn’t he have to ‘leave the room’ when they discuss Nebraska?

I believe so, but he can still vote however he wants if I understand things correctly. So he won’t be in the room if Nebraska is part of the discussion, but he can still vote for Nebraska to be in. It’s stupid…

For some reason I picture the committee meeting in a back-slapping mens club like Randolph and Mortimer Duke in "Trading Places." It can't hurt to be a member of the club, except maybe Dannen is playing the role of Billy Ray Valentine and this is an experiment by the football powers to see if they can get Nebraska off the streets and back to respectability.......? That's kind of insulting.

It would be wise for him to remove any planned bonuses for the team making the playoffs. He can have it restructured to another goal.

Don't need to be in the same situation as UNC's AD this year for the big dance.
