Not sure if this is what you were referring to but last summer Burroughs announced that he would be leaving the NWTC following the Tokyo Olympics.

I agree the win is not "shocking" as Dake is defending World champion.. What was surprising is that Dake swept Burroughs. I don't believe many saw that coming.

Dake is a tough out. He was really aggressive and took Burroughs down in the first 12 seconds. Really set the tone for their match.
