D2 Playoff Wildcard Points Projections

Here is an idea for D2 Playoff seedings. There are 3 games this week that will play into a lot of movement on the seedings. I have what I used for the projections below.

Overton over Cambridge
Sandhills/Thedford over Mullen

I am sure there are mistakes but it is always fun to give a guess. Enjoy!

Are they still seeded in a east/west format? Or did they go away from that - I can't remember.

I believe 8-man is now a 1-32 bracket. No east/west. No reseeding. Higher seed hosts all the way through.

Believe the first round is east west then they reseed for that second round.

Fullerton and Riverside still play each other so their records are wrong, Fullerton will either be 4-4 or riverside 2-6

Good catch, knew I would have some mistakes! I fixed it and have Fullerton winning which takes riverside out of the equation.

D1 According to "Grok AI." I told it predict the final two weeks based on scores from like opponents and calculate points based on final divisions after week 8. Didn't tell it to break ties.

According to NSAA list they are eligible this year. From year 1 to year 2 if the numbers go down to 47 or below they can be eligible.

Burwell- 41.375 Seed would be around 11
Twin Loup- 39.125 Seed would be around 26/27
Elm Creek- 39.625 Seed would be around 21-23

looks like the biggest toss up games affecting points and seeding are...

ALMA VS HI LINE. affects them getting in plus ravenna, alc, npsp

LOURDES VS JOHNSON BROCK. affects their seeding as lourdes loss would drop to (339) around 13 seed plus, thayer,

STANTON VS LAUREL CC affects either getting in plus, wausa, pender, plainview, summerland

CLARKSON LEIGH VS DAVID CITY affects CL seed plus pender, emf,
