D-2 wide open or top heavy?

I think D-2 will be top heavy with BDS, HSF, and FSCH leading the way. What other teams out there can compete with those 3?

I gotta think Sandhills/Thedford has to be a favorite. Roughly 95% of their offensive production is back with 2 thousand yard rushers back if I'm not mistaken. Jacey Nutter is one of those all everything players too similar to Pelster at CWC last year.

Gotta believe Randolph deserves to at least be in the Top Ten somewhere after a #8 finish last year with narrow losses to Wynot and Falls City Sacred Heart and with what they have returning this year. On-line Top Ten: 10. Giltner 9. Osmond 8. Blue Hill 7. Osceola 6. Lawrence-Nelson 5. Wynot 4. BDS 3. Sandhills/Thedford 2. FCSH 1. HSF

If your top ten is correct then the line for the playoffs will have Blue Hill and Sandhills in the west and the rest of the teams in the east. The East will be loaded again. Giltner, Lawrence Nelson and Osmond would be next to jump the line but I don't think the line will move far. I would like to see playoffs change.. Still take 32 teams. In the first round divide them into four groups Southeast, Northeast, Southwest and Northwest and call it sub districts. In the second round reseed teams 1 thru 16 and split east west and call it districts. In the third round with 8 teams left would be considered state and reseed teams again 1 thru 8 and play it out. I know this would take some work but I feel we would get eh best teams into the state championships. Its just an idea.
