Anyone have any thoughts on D-1? It sure seems like HD and Wausa are playing the best basketball in the state right now, with MJ a close third.

I think H-D is the favorite. It will be interesting to see how they finish the season. They end with North Bend, at St. Mary's and at LHNE.

I'm not sure I have seen a team in D1 with the point total of NPSP with 9 losses. No one has been more battle tested in D1 than the Irish. 9 out of their 20 games have been against Division 1 opponents. They also crushed Elm Creek and beat 17-3 Overton.

East Butler and Wausa schedules are just not great at all.

My sub projections:

D1-1: Southern (terrible sub)
D1-2: Mead
D1-3: H-D
D1-4: LHNE
D1-5: Boyd County (bad sub)
D1-6: Fullerton (loaded sub)
D1-7: McCool
D1-8: Red Cloud (bad sub)
D1-9: Overton
D1-10: Twin Loup
D1-11: Bertrand
D1-12: NPSP

Wildcards: East Butler, Elm Creek, Wausa, May-Hay

If McJ has a nice supporting cast to go with McDonald they could make a run. they were the 3rd place squad last year.
