He took that pitch right on the bone in his forearm. I wouldn’t be surprised if there isn’t more of an injury than just a bad bruise.

Mule is better at the plate, but I think Rocker would have made him look silly.

Defensively, Skinner is faster in the outfield and on the base paths, assuming he gets a walk or manages a hit. All in all, I'm just thankful that we have a ready-to-go replacement at that exact position.

I seriously hope he quits football and puts some serious work in this fall. If he contributes significantly at DE I would be shocked. But dude has the size, athletic ability, and instincts to have a career in baseball. He could easily be a middle of the order force next year and with his measurable a it would put him in the top couple of rounds.

He needs to go all in this fall on pitch recognition, defense, and his swing. Needs to go out to a hitting lab like Rooker did the summer before his Jr year.
