Has SP’s defense been overhauled since our last game? I ask because the one they brought down here can’t stop us.

I agree. It’ll need to be that way because if it’s not. You’ll get the hell beat out of you again.

They have been a lot of battles between Crest and SP. This year's game was not one of them. Y'all controlled both sides of the ball. I don't think it will be as easy this time. But, what do I know. Lots of respect for Greg Lloyd and Crest!
It's safe to say neither team excels at stopping each other. Whoever limits the mistakes usually wins.
Crest is clearly the best team in the state. SP is very good and Crest is elite. That means they should win but doesn mean that they will. I will be there in any case. I was not able to be at the last game and have never looked at the stats until this morning. SP was outgained 380 yds to 230 yds and fumbled four times to no turnovers for Crest. That being said, Crest has an historically great team and anything short of the state championship would be a massive failure. Hamrick is a great QB and probably the best recruit that Crest has had over recent years. Looking forward to the game at Lineberger stadium. Should be a huge crowd at that game.
Both team have improved greatly , water your field down, have busted water pipe on our sidelines , bring your Refs out of Belmont Town Hall , you will need all of that a then some.

As you saw the first game and I did not, I would not question whether Crest would have won anyway. I would just like to see a clean game.
