Jays get these big home wins sometimes. I still don’t think they look that good, KU looked terrible tonight.

Anytime Bill Self loses it’s a good night. But the boost to the Huskers’ NET ranking is a nice bonus.

Nebraska is easily 20 points better than #1 Kansas
With the Kansas shot selection tonight I don’t think that’d be far off. They played in a style that Nebraska would eat up.

I haven’t seen Kansas the rest of the year so I’m not sure what changed.

Kansas didn’t really D up the way they are capable of, although Isaacs hit some tough shots.
Kansas let the Creighton offense run inside out and had terrible shot selection on offense that made defense easy.

Isaacs shot looks terrible but they go in and he is decent when he can hold down the 2 instead of pg.

Kansas didn’t play with great body language when their backs were against the wall.

Isaacs isn’t a major talent but he’s been the Jays’ best player so far. Tough dude who doesn’t waste energy trying to draw a whistle and crying for fouls.

Not a normal Creighton wing. More like some of the hustle players Nebraska had at wing under Miles.

Pop Isaac’s push shot from his chest looks weird AF but it goes in… I keep wondering how he gets it off from such a low release point, but he does. 🤷‍♂️

He looks like a guy that's going to shoot you out of the game 70% of the time and into the game 30% of the time. Nothing in between.

Bill Self ran out on the court and got a technical foul. I remember when Nebraska was in the Big 12, dude could strip naked, run all over the court and punch every ref in the face and they wouldn't call **** 🤔

Yeah but so far Isaacs hasn't forced a bunch of shots unless they're going in. And he brings some toughness to the Jays' lineup that they badly need.

I will say Traudt has played better since McDermott took him out of the starting lineup - hitting the boards and actually playing a little defense. Seems like the move to the bench might have been a wakeup call for him.

I admit I've only watched him against us.

And Creighton will jump back into the rankings while Nebraska will continue to receiver "other" votes.
Our schedule though, blech.... we need to win one of the next 2 against Sparty/Hoosiers.

I looked at the voting a couple of days ago and we were around 40th. Looking at the ranked teams and teams ahead of us, I couldn't really argue much. St. Mary's isn't ranked either. Got to make some noise in conference play.

Thoroughly enjoying the total ***-whipping Penn State is putting on Purdue. Too bad Robbie Hummel isn’t calling the game, although Rapheal Davis is also a big Purdue homer.

KU apparently had the flu
To be fair, so did Creighton. Plus reportedly kalkbrenner was playing with swollen nads from a shot to the groin in Vegas. Kalkbrenner didn’t play against Notre Dame because of it. Neither Pop or Kalkbrenner practiced after their Vegas trip.

Also, released this morning that Pop Isaac’s is now out for the year. He’s to have surgery on his hip, which has been bothering him all year. CU’s season may be toast.

Yikes, that is a huge blow for Creighton. Now when Ashworth disappears against a good defensive team, there’s nobody to pick up the slack.
