Congrats to the 5 of 6 CPC Teams who made the Playoffs:
#12 NW Guilford @ #5 West Forsyth: NCHSAA paired up our two CPC conference teams first Rd. Look for West to easily handle business and move on to play @Mallard Creek next week. BTW… West missed the bye for the #4 seed by 0.00392% to Mallard Creek who finished 3rd in their conference. The West Forsyth Defense finished the season with 4 straight shutouts.
#5 Reagan BYE week: A Reagan vs AL Brown looks like a guaranteed matchup Nov. 14th. Reagan had 3 great wins this year over Lake Norman, Reidsville and East Forsyth. They also beat OAK Grove who was the champion of their conference. Reagan has a nice path to go deep into the playoffs.
#23 Purnell Swett @ #10 East Forsyth: East Forsyth should win this home game even during a rebuilding year. A East Forsyth vs Lake Norman matchup looms ahead.
#17 West Cabarrus @ #16 RJ Reynolds: This game may not be played in RJR new stadium because it wasn’t built big enough to host a playoff game. Look for it to be at Deaton Thompson Stadium. This game will be close. The winner’s season will basically be over after this game. Grimsley is waiting!
