Could we have gone 2-0 in Auburn?

Isn't Auburn without that tall lanky RF? He had a helluva game the one game of the series that I attended in Starkville.

But UGA didn't have Phelps today.... so.....

It's been imprinted on me from the 90s that OM is an inferior baseball program. However I saw a stat yesterday that surprised me, they've been to 9 supers. We've been to 11. Then someone here said they spent $3m more than us on baseball last year. Their AD is serious about baseball.

It's really a damn shame for us, that they didn't fire Bianco in the middle of the 22 season. Their fans wanted to badly.

They've been basically our equal for the entire Bianco era, although our record of Omaha trips is more impressive, and we've owned him head to head for awhile.

You're right, it's unfortunate for us that their stupid, entitled fans couldn't get the Bianco firing done. That would be a legacy they deserve.

Can’t win anything with the worst bullpen we’ve had in 20 years. 😕

The 2023 MSU bullpen would like a word.

We can win and have won this year but it basically requires us blowing people out. Our two default modes seem to be “win convincingly” or “lose” the lone exceptions being the Friday night game in Oxford and the first two LSU games.

Hell naw! Stick a fork in this bunch. They are mailing it in now. Did you see Ace’s effort in his two ABs? Dude is ready to start preparing for the draft. He probably liked Lemonis better. “”””””

Since we won’t the natty in 2021, they have been to Omaha twice to our none. We’ve got some ground to make up

Both programs regressed after winning it all, the difference is Bianco found his footing again and Lemonis never really could. So they’ve had the same steady hand at the wheel the whole time, whereas we had to go hire a new guy.

I think we hired the right guy, and getting us back to hosting and to a Super for the first time in 5 years is a positive start to this era.

We had a better season than Ole Miss. We are a better team than Ole Miss. They just so happened to find a Super pairing against a team that was starting to slump whereas we got paired with the worst possible opponent in the worst possible ballpark.

2 games in a row leading at end and lose. All we needed all year was for one pitcher to step up and want the ball at the end. Now I have to listen to them all week. Let’s hope they leave there quickly.

No, not unless we could have beaten Auburn comfortably in 2 games. We don't win close games against good competition. OM just did that at Auburn with two 2 run wins. We could have never done that.

Their AD is serious about baseball.

They have DESPERATELY wanted to steal baseball from State for decades, but Bianco has given them hope. Yeah it's a sour grapes way of saying it, but OM baseball wouldn't exist without State. I think things will get back to usual once O'Connor gets rolling.

Last ditch effort to finally upgrade that trash ballpark, if a few well to do baseball donors will empty more of their pockets from the big losses in the football program
