In a fumble/Interception festival, Courtland comes away with a 14-7 win against Liberty. Cougars fumbled on the Liberty 1 yard line, and tossed interception to end first half after being down around the Liberty 15 yard line to kill excellent drives. Defense played very good, with a little help from the weather. Liberty only really had one decent scoring opportunity that was a 4th and 1 on the Cougar 15. Cougars caught in all out jail break, Liberty back scored untouched from the 15. The kiddies are growing and learning, more than likely come back to earth next week as they play at Chancellor, but its a rivalry game and you just never know what will happen when these two hook up?
