We need a few more like him. Corey needs a little time (only a frosh) for him to take the next step and put the team on his back.

Any info on recruiting ??? just wondering, hoping and PRAYING!

PS Also hoping our injured players can come back soon (any idea as to the timelines)?

Doorson and Diallo are done for the year. Wouldn't count on Freeman for a few weeks either.

Thanks...I think!

Can we win with 3 guards Lewis, Laurent, Freeman, Foreman? Can we recruit without winning? Can we win without having a new facility?

So many questions: but I'll stick with my comment: We're BLESSED to have Corey on our team- he will only get BETTER!

Merry Christmas / Happy New Year!

The problem is expecting Sanders to have to put the team on his back versus planning on surrounding him with a capable supporting cast to make life easier on the kid.

Corey is special. So far he has done everything we could have asked of him. He is leading the BIG 10 freshman in scoring. We must hope that Doorson and Diallo are both fully healthy next year as well as Freeman and that we can find a few good recruits to join them. Laurent has been pretty good too. Williams is much improved and hopefully Nigel Johnson can really contribute. Right now we must be one of the smallest teams in all of D-1 with only Lewis, Foreman and Laurent over 6'4".

Can't wait to see the duo of Sanders and Nigel Johnson in the backcourt together....Nigel Johnson is another legit piece to go with Sanders
Johnson might be a talented player but he is undersized which makes match up problems on defense similar to when Mack was playing..

Mack's issues were more lateral quickness than height. I also thought too many minutes/intensity was an issue too.

A bit worried last night watching Grier, Sanders and even Williams not fighting thru screens.

If we have a healthy Doorson and Diallo next year, a Senior Freeman, a Soph Laurent, along with a Soph Sanders and a little more depth on the bench, what will get us to respectability are two more snipers; one to start and another off the bench. And no, those snipers are currently not on this roster.

If Eddie isn't going anywhere immediately, I believe he will need to re-recruit his roster every Spring/Summer. The team has to stay together and do something special by Corey's Junior year or it's over for EJ.

Can we cool the jets on Nigel a tad? He avereged 5.2 points and 1.7 assists a game as a soph for a 15-17 Kansas State team. Now, that was a very dysfuctional team and it had a couple of wins in which Nigel played well. But, the reality is that he has less potential to make an impact than the last KSU import, Wally Jack. If Sanders and Johnson are your starting guards, it could be another ugly year on D. The staff really needs to bring in a decent 2 with some size.

LOL, I guess I can't have an opinion and I need "cool the jets". If I am wrong a year from now, I will admit it, but he does NOT have less potential than Wally Judge (since I have no clue who Wally Jack is). He and Corey would be the two best players on the floor right now this year and it isn't close.

Wally Jack LOL! Must be the result of cloning of Kadeem Jack and Wally Judge. Don't forget about Sheridan. Continues to light it up in practice. Next year could be the year.

Let's hope that he stays and not transfer. I hope that he helps with our recruiting

because people are buying into Eddie talking up that he is another Magic Johnson. One thing you can count on is Rutgers fans heaping expectations on transfers who were only okay at their previous stops to be the saviors of Rutgers basketball

Corey Sanders is the real deal. And Freeman is very solid but he's a Jr. Laurent looks like he can be a contributor.

Once again I fear we are falling into the same pattern--reliance on too few players. We need another Sanders, a young freeman and a minimum of 2 shooting guards who can actually shoot. Granted we do have Johnson for next year so that is probably at least 1 player who can contribute. I'm not ready to sign him up as Steph Curry but he sounds like he can score.

The lack of players for 2016 recruiting class is extremely troubling.

Sorry, but you are wrong. My opinion is not based on what Eddie says, but what my own eyes have seen.
