I like what I hear, but I remember Douby after the final game of his JR year telling dick lloyd in the lockeroom that he is definitely coming back. All it takes is a few people to get in somebody's ear and everything can change

No way a guy that loves basketball and the spotlight transfers to sit out....just to practice.

It's hard to predict. I agree with above post but sometimes people advising the player get greedy.

Willis, try to keep up. We are talking about a guy who put out a 15 series Youtube highlight reel about his life playing basketball......he WILL NOT sit out voluntarily. This is not D. Jones who wanted to go to Duke to play with his buddy Jason Williams.
Yes, of course, you know he's different from watching him play and watching his youtube video about himself, something that is singularly unique and offers you the infallible insight into what he will do in the future, so much so that you constantly find yourself knowingly chuckling at those who can't keep up with all that only you see.

Or . . . your opinions are admittedly, singularly, wholly and predictably influenced by who is on your team or coaches it.

That was deep.....you are brilliant. Politician ? You said a lot of nothing in that post.

Were you standing on a soapbox when you typed that comment?

It's all falling apart, isn't it. Not to worry. After you take your deep, deep breath, it will all coalesce again before your eyes and start to look exactly the same as it always has. You will insert new name into old brackets and form the same opinions but about a new coach and changing players. This will all be forgotten. Wash, rinse, repeat. No one else will keep up. Just you. And you'll be fine again.

You made a statement which isn't really true and Willis let you know it.

We're all hoping that Corey stays and kicks butt here but saying you know he wouldn't transfer is just silly.

I think you need to learn the difference between opinion and fact. Opinions should not be viewed as true or false.

Maybe I should preface every comment with, "in my opinion", obviously, you can't tell the difference between opinion and fact on a sports message board. You also have the option of trying to dissect every word or phrase used on a message.

Maybe you should say " I think or I believe".

You have a tendency to try to make everyone think your opinions are fact.

Is Eddie really your second cousin?

Everyone on this board uses I think or I believe.....

Yep, that's what I do. All my opinions are facts....just stop, you are being silly.

You also need to try to understand sarcasm...if I was related to Jordan, do you really think I would post it on a message board? Any regular posted on this board knew that was sarcasm. Actually, I'm related to Hobbs...lol

Figured it was the only reason anyone would still support Jordan.

Problem is sanders, Williams, and Johnson can't be on the court at the same time. 3 little guys when we lack talented height.

I maintain what I said

Keep this team intact and the verbals signed with herb Sendek and I think we are a 16-15 basketball team next year

We went 7-24 (not counting the tourney ) ..I think the injuries made a riddiciously young 11-21 team 7-24

If my theory that we were a young 11-21 team set back by injuries, then the right coach will get the youth to develop and 16-15 isn't out of the question

Whether any player on an 8 win team will stay is irrelevant to the decision on whether to fire the coach. Look at Fordham they fired Pecora and lost by far their best player in Paschall. Neubauer ends up winning 17 games, 8 in conference twice what Pecora won last year. Now Neubauer has a solid recruiting class for next year and their fan base is excited.

Fire Jordan today and hire a good coach. There are plenty of Corey Sanders out there so if he leaves not a big deal.

Reaching? You sound like a moron. I said I hope corey stays with us but gave an example of A time when a player changed his mind about that type of decision. And somehow I'm secretly hoping he leaves. Lol.

This is all theory. You can't ignore the fact that the 2 key players had lengthy suspension this year. The reason they are at RU is because it happened and quite likely will happen again.

You can't hang your hat on what 18-19 year old kids say .

Sanders attended 5 HS's----I'm sure he intended to stay at all of them when he arrived.

Let's see.

This exactly. Who knows what can happen, but based on everything I've seen and heard, I always felt that Corey loves basketball too much to want to sit out. He's a competitor.
