shorter line?Seems like an upgrade over the last guy that was in the Chick-Fil-A drivethrough while the Iowa game was going on. Of course he knew the axe was getting ready to fall, but still.
He ordered on the app so he could get the points.shorter line?
No such thing at that place, although the organization and speed with which they get you thru is impressiveshorter line?
Look at our lack of injuries.I think Campbell has been ok. Still looking for the speed combined with the size. Also looking for us to be the stronger team in the 4th.,

Agree, but also seemed to be some of the S&C mixed in. Illinois was the first major example. They just pushed us around and our dudes looked tired. That used to be Nebraska's calling card. There were other examples as well, but agree with the other piece as well that plays in.Rhule's teams are historically prone to 2nd half collapse.
However, I don't know if it's because of S&C. I fear it's because his oratory skills are weak outside of pregame. Look no further than the soft speech he gave at halftime for the Colorado game. Team came out flat and never really covered the rest of the season.
Huh?Rhule's teams are historically prone to 2nd half collapse.

let's look at 2019, Rhule's crowning achievement.Huh?
Please share how his teams have historically collapsed.
I thought there was a big difference in the physical look of the Huskers from the game I saw them play in Boulder under Frost and then this year in Lincoln. Under Frost I thought the Huskers paled in comparison to the Buffs. I was then at the game in September 2023 in Boulder, but I did not notice the change as much as when I saw them again this September.Look at our lack of injuries.
And we have been fine in the fourth. The issues haven’t been getting physically beat down.
Finally look at our players themselves. Look at Ty and Nash. Look at our linemen. Significantly different than under the previous regime
What a stretchlet's look at 2019, Rhule's crowning achievement.
@Rice (3-9)
outscored 10-0 in the 2nd half, win by 8 points.

Michigan State (4-8)
outscored 10-7 in the 2nd half, lose by 3
Wisconsin (6-6)

this year

USC (5-7)

Iowa (8-4)

that makes 7 games this year where we got beat in the 2nd half. that is not something hat happens to a winning coach.
We were -19 in the 4th quarter + OT this seasonAnd we have been fine in the fourth. The issues haven’t been getting physically beat down.

You think that’s a “collapse”?We were -19 in the 4th quarter + OT this season
Might want to read my response before you beat your chestnope, its spot on and i called it 2 years ago.
He's another toad licker I have on ignore so I don't know why you're dunking on him but well done, sir. Carry on.What a stretch
You think this didn’t factor into our W/L record? You think that’s a “collapse”?
-19 point differential over 12 games?
Maybe I’m not following your math. Indiana outscored us by 28 in the second half. Remove that one game from the equation and we outscored our other collective opponents by 9 in the second half. That is definitely not enough to win a bunch more games but stats don’t always tell the whole story. You think this didn’t factor into our W/L record?
Okay.
I think he is doing a great job. Seems like a lot fewer little injuries and issues with players. We are not getting dominated at the line anymore. Not going anywhere, that I’ve heard.
He’s not a guy that we talk about a lot, which is a good sign, that he’s getting the job done.
Carry on coach Campbell, and thanks for the good work.
Wasn’t the point, I was showing you how frequently it happened at his previous stop and how it has trended worse now that he plays in a tougher divisionDon’t make me do this to you brother……
2019 - as you stated, his “crowning achievement” year
You did a nice job of cherry picking Baylors only games they got outscored in the second halves of games. Let’s look at the other 2019 Rhule games that you conveniently omitted shall we?
here are the second half scoring in the games you left out……
Texas - baylor out scored them 17-7
Kansas - Baylor ourscored them 27-6
TCU - Baylor ourscored them 9-0
Oklahoma state - Baylor outscored them 35-14
Texas Tech - Baylor outscored them 17-14
Kansas State - Baylor outscored them 21-9
Stephen F Austin - Baylor out scored them 21-10
UT San Antonio - Baylor out scored them 28-14
I’ll do the math now for you.
Baylor outscored opponents 211 - 156 in the second half of ALL games in 2019.
thall = king_kong_nope, its spot on and i called it 2 years ago.
1000%, and I hope I am. I'll revisit this thread and own it if we take the next step in 2025.thall = king_kong_
"A narcissist is someone who has an exaggerated sense of self-importance, an excessive need for admiration, and a diminished ability to empathize with others"
"If" Nebraska does well next year or at any point under Rhule. Do you have the ability to admit you were wrong? That is my only question. Not going to sit here and say I think Rhule is going to it, but if he does I would like to know if you have the ability to admit you were wrong? I know Kong doesn't
I was wrong, many of yall were right.
Thrilled to get to make this post!
The UCLA game this year was first half blunders not second half. Might want to go watch that one againlet's look at 2019, Rhule's crowning achievement.

i didn't say it wasn't, and i was surprised to see we were outscored in both halves. the data is what it is.The UCLA game this year was first half blunders not second half. Might want to go watch that one again
Outscored by 19 total points over 12 games isn’t a “Rhule has a history of second half collapses”.Wasn’t the point, I was showing you how frequently it happened at his previous stop and how it has trended worse now that he plays in a tougher division
Are you pleased with getting outscored in the 2nd half of 7/12 games this year? Is that a good sign to you?
By “frequently” you mean “not often”?Wasn’t the point, I was showing you how frequently it happened at his previous stop and how it has trended worse now that he plays in a tougher division
Are you pleased with getting outscored in the 2nd half of 7/12 games this year? Is that a good sign to you?
you seem to be hung up on the word "collapse" and are using that to pole vault past the data provided. how about "tends to lose the 2nd half of culture-defining games"?Outscored by 19 total points over 12 games isn’t a “Rhule has a history of second half collapses”.
And despite this year getting out scored by 19 points, Rhules teams have historically scored MORE points than their opponent.
It’s not only not a “collapse” it’s the opposite in pure points scored.
That’s all.
really?being outscored in the second half is typically a 50/50 thing if all things are equal.
I 100% agree with you herereally?
happened in 23% of Oregon's games this year.
happened in 15% of Penn State's games this year.
happened in 15% of Ohio State's games this year.
happened in 15% of Indiana's games this year.
happened in 23% of Illinois' games this year.
funny you would get your panties in a wad over the innocuous use of "frequently" then use "typically" when it only applies to the bottom-feeders of the conference.
i'm fine with walking it back to "there were signs it would be this way"I 100% agree with you here
Winners win the second half of games, and mediocre teams typically go 50/50. I am not 100% sold on your agruement that Rhule has always been this though.
You literally just cherry picked again when you just said “I don’t care that he pounded on Kansas, UTSA, Northern Iowa and UTEP” while conveniently leaving out “Texas, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, etc”.you seem to be hung up on the word "collapse" and are using that to pole vault past the data provided. how about "tends to lose the 2nd half of culture-defining games"?
i don't care that he pounded on Kansas, UTSA, Northern Iowa and UTEP in both halves.
i care that he blew double digit leads against teams like Oklahoma, Illinois, and Iowa on the national stage.
i care that the problem clearly got worse when he was facing easily the toughest schedule he's ever had, and it was fairly tame for a B1G schedule.
i'll ask you again, did you enjoy watching us get shut out in the 2nd half against Iowa? did that make you feel good about Rhule?
Yeah and I clearly said “if all things are equal”. You need to truly stop cherry picking. Take an entire data set or sentence and then proceed to analyze it. That’s the crux of your problemreally?
