He was originally scheduled for surgery, but the Husker training staff was going to have input as to whether it was necessary. Does anyone know if he had surgery? Also there was some speculation that because he player in 4? games that he could be eligible at the start of next season instead of mid term. Is that still a possibility?

Yes he had surgery...I believe I read yesterday they expect him to be full go by July-August this year. They have petitioned for him to be eligible for the first game next year but have not received a yes or no.

Based on the NCAA's track record on those types of requests, there is absolutely no reason in the world for them to approve the request ---- which of course means he will probably be on the court first game.
