Power corrupts. When the Patriot act was signed the biggest objection was what would happen if a bad leader used that power against our citizens for non terrorist actions. It literally took 8 years to find out.
Tomorrow will be fun. Now Schiff is saying firings of Rosenstein is probable and Mueller possible.

It is, but it's the only way to get public pressure enough to warrant Trump ordering the declassification process, and not make it look like he's trying to clear himself. It's the game.
It happened as soon as it was signed. We'll likely never hear about it's abuse during the Bush years though.
lol. What a joke. Trump can declassify what he wants. He could have done this a year ago when said his wires were tapped. Just riling the rubes and trying to shape the narrative. If there's such egregious corruption in the FBI and DOJ then I'd argue it's his duty to declassify it and jail the cons. This game sure is wasting a lot of taxpayer money, if true. Sad!

No, Trump needs the narrative to be clear. One that says he’s innocent of collusion and was being framed by bad actors.
He can't fire criminals until after they investigate him? No one else could carry out the investigation? Loophole!! The crooks should keep the investigation going on forever!!
Also, then why release a memo now?
Obstruction and dragging feet by DOJ/FBI, won't let Congress view FISA applications, etc., etc.
BTW, my favorite part of this whole night was Schiff releasing a letter about Nunes changing the memo with a tweet that started with: Breaking...lol What a clown. I think that whole House intel committee needs razed.
I think they are pushing the memo now because it’s getting clear that Muelller has no collusion angle to play.
I just don’t think that 1) Trump is as dumb as people like to think he is and 2) he knew about the FBI and DOJ investigations back before the election.

Republicans have called for that. I think the process to release a FISA memo is already clear so it should not be a problem. It will likely have to happen once the memo is released.
Also, if there was no "collusion angle to play," shouldn't Team Trump have known that from the beginning? Release the warrant. Expose the corruption. Jail the crooks and let the investigation carry on with no fear.
Trump could have declassified the FISA warrant back in March when he claimed his wires were tapped. It's pretty straightforward. Or Nunes and the House Intel Committee could have released the whole warrant instead of a 4 page memo. I think the reasons for the memo route are obvious, but I suspect we shall see.
You don't understand it because all you do is watch movies and tv series all day. This is the real world. Your only comprehension of the situation is based on a level that you have only seen on shows like House of Cards. Let the big boys handle it while you watch your tv shows.
I intended to say they want everyone to see the FISA warrant but that starts with seeing the memo.
Most of the same congressmen who wanted to release the memo have called to release the supporting evidence. Agree to disagree all you want.
The Nunes memo is just going to make it worse, hell, we already know his team lied about "any" contact, but catching Trump in lies means they just gotta work harder to discredit anyone pointing that out. I had no idea the FBI was a left leaning organization, but if McCains a loser than I guess anything is possible to believe, like Trump is Gods chosen one, lmfao.
It's easy to call for releasing the evidence. It's more efficient and transparent to release the warrant in full, instead of the silly memo.

That's the sick thing about all of this, it shouldn't be about left or right if it's true in any way it should be brought down ...all news media should be screaming to the top of there lungs about it
The media has proven they don't need evidence , but it should be on every channel to release the evidence ...hourly if anything was is going on we need to know ..

The FISA warrant was a made up ruse to entrap Trump, so if he stepped in now to reveal how it (FISA) warrant was abused he can just be accused of obstruction trying to clear himself from prosecution.
This way, the memo both exposes the extent of the corruption in Obama's DOJ and all of the lies Democrats have been telling trying to cover up their own scheme to steal the election.
So Trump avoids the entrapment of obstruction of a non existent crime, and he exposes the real "collusion" among Dems to smear him and rig the election they accused him of stealing.
