Are you sure that Michigan will not be ranked #1? You know that the Committee will make sure that Alabama and Georgia aren't ranked #2 and #3, as they won't want a rematch in the semifinal. Your ranking may be correct, but I also wouldn't be surprised, if Michigan were #1, and Georgia were #4.

Iowa doesn't have a serviceable quarterback, and that's not good when you play an aggressive, in your face defense like Michigan. Once they adjusted to what Iowa was attempting to do in the short passing game, the game was over early in the 2nd half. It went downhill for them after that, due to Iowa getting out of their comfort zone, as well as not being a team that can score points in buckets. They depend on making it an ugly game, and attempting to steal a win at the end against overmatched opponents.
