That’s a nice move for Belmont.

It is. The Missouri Valley looked at them in their past expansion go-around after Wichita State joined the American. They chose Valpo then.

I’m wondering if they’re looking for a twelfth school and if so, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s one from the Missouri Valley Football Conference— maybe Youngstown State?

I also wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a school like UALR or UT Arlington. The Sun Belt has been emphasizing all sports schools and one of those two might want to join.
