No. Once the play offs start you play the full amount of innings regardless of the score.

Not all conferences


This is just another example of VHSL delegating down too much. Every conference in the state should be the same.

That is the rule for regional and state games. The conference tourneys are different. They are like the former district tourney. I think each Conference may have a different policies just like each district had different policies . The 10 run rule was in effect according to the umpires on Monday night during the conference 34 games.

Actually Conference 37 does use the 10 run rule however it was not communicated to anyone before the game Monday night,imagine that.

I had a good feeling that was the case, especially after talking with one of the umpires. Whether is be Conference 37, 47 or 57, everyone should play by same rules. Imagine how the umpires , most of whom call several conferences feel.
