Not sure what is going on but against Miami, PSU, and SHU we came out of the locker room playing awful basketball. No defense and turnovers galore. Not sure what Pikiel's halftime routine is but it needs to be fixed.

I think we are slow out of the gate in general this year, Seton Hall game the big exception. Against cupcakes it didnt matter and it was something I feared, playing close against cupcakes isnt a worry if you stick to your game good things will happen, against better competition you can quickly fall behind and the opponent will have more to counter your run.

We weren't good the first half either or we would have been up by at least 10. They were even worse for the first 8 minutes. Shooting badly is part of the game, but uncommitted TO are killers. That is collectable.

bac ... spot on with your comments.Watching league games the question in my mind is Rutgers response to opponent runs .Single digit leads by the opponent become double digit losses

When you have problems shooting the ball and the other team has time to adjust, It's definitely going to seem worse. However, bad shooting is bad shooting and how does one adjust or improve that in 20 minutes? I'd expect this situation to continue throughout the rest of the season, especially since we've been exposed by more talented teams.
