I am usually in Columbus a lot of the time. Especially on the weekends. I live down near Athens, Ohio. For watching the game I have not found any good spots really to watch with other Kentucky fans. Where are you staying near in Columbus? Don't want to send you to far away from your hotel.
Yea I was going to go with Pint house and the Short North area. A lot of craft beers and televisions. From Polaris it will be about 15 minutes! There is bound to be some younger fans there. I read online a place called Chubby's on hard road? But never heard of it.
There are some areas around Polaris you could choose but most of them are probably restaurants!
Good luck! I love the Short North area. Plenty of bars and it's not the college part of town really! Some students go down that way but most go to the college bars.
I had a buddy who lived on Polaris parkway. We usually ubered Downtown from there but there is a nice Bar Louie that is good for watching games.
I watched uk at bar Louie last year against ucla and we lost. I can't watch UK basketball in public, it is an ultimate jinx. It is sickening.
I don't like watching anywhere that's not my lucky seat on my couch.. but that's a couple hour trip lol. Bar Louie's is right across the street from me
