Saw a quote this week where Hunter said we've been their toughest opponent so far.

What the heck happened to our team????

Satterfield happened. I truly believe we have some talent on offense. RBs and parts of the Oline are iffy, but I think there are enough good pieces to score 27-34 pts a game with the right coaching. B1G defensive coaches got some film on Satt and on how he likes to use our personnel. And he (Satt) doesn’t have a change up or curve ball to save his life. Opposing defenses are crushing his fast ball and he’s got nothing else.

The Puffs record is a product of them playing in a weak conference. Remember, the Puffs nearly lost to North Dakota State.

Big 12 is basically a G5 conference.

That said I think Colorado would kill us in a rematch

I don’t think we’d put up 10 points on Colorado now, they’d beat us by 4-5 TDs. They are on the verge of blowing the game vs TTU wide open.

They are beating teams they should beat. Prime and his staff have done a nice job this year. I thought they were gonna melt down.

Colorado seems to have gotten better. .. unfortunately we've gone the other way.
I think we are who we’ve been all year. The outlier was Ohio State. CU wouldn’t have the record they have playing in the B1G in my opinion.

I feel like we flipped with them as far as how the season proceeded.

Last year they started hot and then crashed hard, we started pretty bad but saw improvement even if we ended up 5-7.

This year, they looked like crap but have gotten progressively better, and we're started off hot and then crashed back to earth hard.

is Prime the best coach Rhule has ever beaten?

Seriously? I’m 2019 Baylor beat the following.

Gary Patterson
Mike Gundy
Chris Klieman
Matt Campbell
Les Miles

Pretty sure every one of those guys is a lot more accomplished coach than “Prime”.

Even at Nebraska he’s beaten Bert and Schiano. Both slot better coaches than “Prime”.

Sign of the times. This is college football at the moment. CU will drift back to where they belong next year.

After we dismantled them, CU’s next game was at home against a poor Baylor team. Baylor had them beat. But Sanders connected on a Hail Mary with no time left. If they lose that game, they may have crumbled like last year. But they didn’t.

What happened? Dylan is probably hurt and there is lots of film of us where our weaknesses have been exposed.
He's had two off weeks now to heal up from the ankle (if that is what has been bothering him). We'll also be getting Tommi Hill back at full speed which will help considerably. If Holgersen is able to work with our offense (Dylan and the running game in particular) and take the playcalling duties, we ought to be fully capable of winning out. USC is the best in terms of athletes but they have been getting worse as the season progresses and Riley is under a lot of pressure. A QB change says a lot.

no, their next game was on the road against bitter in-state rival CSU

I was watching the TTech OL. They are not good. CU was able to eat them alive. That would not happen in the BIg 10 against the quality of the OLs we have. Sorry, but there are two conferences that are just in another echelon and we are in one of them.

Ah, yes, the Jay Norvell game. Looked like he was on his way to getting fired after losing to CU. But they’ve turned it around and are already bowl eligible with 3 games left.

This is a popular myth.

B1G and Big 12 are basically the same, as evidenced by the .500 head to head record over the years.
