Is going to Brookings, SD? Oh my. This ought to be fun.

Many years ago I used to watch every second of that show. Then got married and had kids. Now I couldn't care less about it. Don't even care who they pick to win games anymore. These days I just have it on for background noise while I do adult things - washing clothes, feeding the kids, etc. Then when 11am CT hits its football for the rest of the day.

I can see FOX taking over the pregame stuff as the years go on since they actually talk football on their show.

Show used to be amazing pre-Herbstreit. Think it was Craig James in there with Beano Cook laying down the history of the game. Couple years after Herbstreit joined it started to dive in quality. Now it's unwatchable, and I get uncomfortable trying to listen to Corso knowing what he used to be.

But back in the day, wasn't Game Day just an hour? Now it's like a Jerry Lewis telethon - who could possibly sit down and watch the whole thing?

Game Day went to Fargo a few years ago, and it was somewhat interesting in that it gave people a look at the fan support that the better FCS programs attract. Also gives ESPN a chance to plug the FCS playoffs - which I usually forget about until the last minute, then I'll stumble onto a very entertaining game.
