WOW! So, the NFL will fine people for not having their socks meet their pants during games yet nobody has heard of this yet?????
I don't think it was during a game.....according to the report it was practice. I doubt anyone even noticed he was wearing the anti cop socks until people started to take a closer look at his antics. Personally I couldn't care less what he wears during practice. I don't agree with him and I don't think his actions will help fix any of the societal problems he is concerned about. I actually think his actions will widen the chasm regarding his perceived issues.
Honestly, if I were one of his linemen, I would probably just take a play or two off in an obvious passing down.
I should be real interesting tonight in San Diego.......The game is billed as the 28th Annual Salute to the Military.

He is clueless regarding his claim that police are oppressing and targeting based on race. The data shows otherwise. The ******* is making things worse by his inflammatory and totally false comments.

I haven't weighed in on the Kaepernick issue yet, but my stance is that he is exercising his right to free speech. Do I think what he is doing is smart or effective? No. Do I think he has the right to do it? Absolutely.
With regards to his linemen taking a play off, you have no idea whether or not his linemen agree with him on the issue. In fact, you know almost nothing about the person other than what he has done on the football field or in this recent kerfuffle. Neither do I. I'd bet his linemen know him a little better than that. The ones who may not agree with his actions may still respect his stance or at least him as a person. I have plenty of friends with vastly different political views than mine - some to the left and some to the right. I don't turn my back on them just because I disagree with them.
My comments were about the data.....NOT about any linemen. You need to address that with the correct poster.

Show me where this data shows a pattern of oppression and targeting.

You have to look at the percentages of the general population too, otherwise you present a false context. The US is 72.4% White, 12.6% Black. Both of those stats include Hispanics in the overall breakdown, although the majority of the Hispanic population falls into the White Hispanic category.

I agree we do have some bad and unqualified cops. I said I thought the cops in the Eric Gardner case should have been charged. I also agree with Kaepernick that we do have a problem with killings in our country. However......I disagree with him about to whom he is assigning the blame. I think he is fanning the flames of racial tensions by his actions. You have seen my many updates about the genocide that is taking place in Chicago and other cities.......I would like to see Kaepernick address those killings if he is really so concerned about African American deaths.....the poor guy can't see the forest for the trees.
You're correct, I have no idea if his linemen agree or not, that's why I quailed the statement as what I would do if I was in the position to do so.
I showed you the data.....you can parse it anyway you want......we both could do that all night if we wanted to.
