Looks like he could play now. Saw him run an early season 200m and he is very fast for a kid who is 6-5. That kind of player attracts quarterback talent.

I read somewhere that he needs to add some weight.

Would you say you could've used more weight and yet retain the speed you had? 🤔
I was skinny as hell then. Still am.
62 and still 6-4, weigh 195 now.
Wirey I am and have been my whole life.

edit: I had slow plodding white guy speed. None to worry about.

Saw him again last night vs Gretna. Had 2 catches for 9 yards. Never been top option at LE. Looked better as a OLB IMHO.

The kid is 6-5 and already has muscle on his frame. I’d say he’s at 2 bills give or take.

The dude is a bean-pole at 190 pounds and 6-5. Specimen? He can't stay healthy. If he weighed 225, I might agree.

It is a good pick-up for the time being. But 6-5 and 190? He is ripped, but looks like he has never picked up a weight in his life.

Why am I ripping on this kid? Let's just say, as someone fairly close to the East High-school program, he has a couple of "issues". He needs to get past them, because he is talented.

Those WR types that can really run come in all different sizes.

(Not putting Coleman in their universe, but)

Jerry Rice 6-2 188
Randy Moss 6-4 210
Calvin Johnson 6-5 237

Just to look at Coleman, he has that frame to handle 215-225 and still run that sub 4.5. Not staying healthy definitely slows down development.

Getting healthy and staying healthy along with a superior S & C program and great nutrition could make this kid a physical monster just because of his frame and speed.

With my having zero information, if he does have "issues" maybe staying close to home is his best decision since I have no idea what any issue might be.

Heard the exact same thing, has to qualify first which won't be easy for him according to a teammate from last year. Also said obviously needs to mature mentally, but he is very talented yes. Also Miami cancelled his vist because of some "issues" not the other way around like he is saying. Parents on Twitter don't help either.... I hope he gets it figured out and contributes to Nebraska football, but I won't be suprised for a second if he doesn't.....

Guessing mental health type things. Bouncing around the foster system would impact anyone
