West Carteret @ Croatan - The Cougars come in at 1-1 losing last week 19-10 to Swansboro. West Carteret also at 1-1 besting East Carteret 48-13. West should take this one.
East Carteret @ North Lenoir - East has given up 116 pts in their first two games going 0-2 and only putting up 19 on Offense. NL has started 2-0. NL will prevail.
Pender @ Union - Pender played James Kennan close and was shut out by Topsail dropping to 0-2. Union shut out Trask last week but was shut out themselfs by Midway to start the season and stands at 1-1. Union gets the win in this one.
Dixon @ Topsail - The Bulldogs have been in two shoot outs losing to Swansboro and beating Southside and are at 1-1. Topsail rolled up 35 on Trask and Pender each only allowing 8 to Trask and is 2-0. Topsail to much for Dixon.
Lejeune @ Lakewood - Lejeune on and off with a 1-1 record, winning 62-0 over hapless Jones and losing 21-10 to Spring Creek. Lakewood has been a little more consistent with their 1-1 record. Lakewood should be OK in this one.
Trask @ Wallace Rose Hill - The Titans havnt shown much with a 0-2 record. WRH meanwhile is on a tear to start 2-0 beating 2 teams better than Trask by a whole bunch. NO CONTEST, the fat lady sings in the first qtr and goes home early.
Swansboro @ Richlands - No big surprise in the Wildcats 1-1 record, lost to ED and beat White Oak. The Pirates of Swansboro are 2-0 beating two other Coastal 8 teams (Dixon and Croatan) but not looking strong in doing it. Richlands for the Win.
SouthWest Onslow @ White Oak - OH my Stallions, sitting at 0-2 and looking to be in real trouble this year with No, Nadda, None, Zip Offense. White Oak. The Vikings havnt done any better posting only 8 points so far to Match SWOs output, but they havent allowed a lot either against 2 Coastal 8 members, Croatan and Richlands. A battle of the Have-Nots will produce no thrills. Gotta go with SWO come Hell or HIgh Water.
