Coaching vs Talent

Keep seeing this argument on here. Will make this simple. Coaching puts players in position to make plays.. Talent then makes the play. Rewatch the film from yesterday and decide if it is coaching or talent? It is pretty damn obvious if you know what you are watching at all!

The problem with this part of the equation is how do you determine who is responsible when the player is not in position to make a play. It could be the coach for teaching the player improperly and the player is out of position but executing according to coach's instruction It could be the player who fails to perform according to coach's instruction. "Execution" is a favorite term used by coaches at all levels.

When it comes to poor play, the coaching vs. talent argument will never end because fans will see what they want to see. Bottom-line is the coaches are ultimately responsible no matter what side of the argument you favor.
