Not to mention Kansas St and Iowa St received votes as well.

70% of the conference is considered good to elite competition.

Big XII needs to start 10-0
Texas Tech vs Ole Miss in Houston and WVU vs Tennessee are the important matchups
Ole Miss has no defense at all so Tech should win in a shootout

So by your logic Tech is so soft that it will take a "shootout" to beat a team that has "no defense." Sounds like a slow pitch beer league game.

Last year when Tech played Oklahoma St and Oklahoma their offense went conservative
Mike Stoops at OU had to adjust.
Tech/Ole Miss playing a 55-51 game may not be correct.
According to Tech they have their most talented defense

Both coaches are trying to change their style of play to adjust to the current CFB.
Whatever happens I like Tech to beat them.

Ole Miss 6-6 last year. They gave 35 points a game last year but beat their rival Miss. State 31-28. Their biggest win was 9-4 Miss. State

Tech 6-7 last year. They gave up 32 a game last year. They were 3-6 in Big 12 and 3-0 in OOC with their Biggest win ooc was against 7-6 ASU, They lost their bowl game. Their biggest conference win was Texas 7-6.

I'm thinking a 45-42 (2-OT) game. Winner is a toss up.

Tech is a slight favorite at 1.5 but it is pretty much a toss up.
Should be a very interesting matchup.

Especially considering the same type of students for the most part attend both schools.
OM enrolls Texans that could not get into UT and A&M from Houston and East Texas.
Tech enrolls Texans from the Metroplex and West Texas that could not attend UT or A&M and that could not afford the Christian schools.
