I don't know Dark. I've seen him play at least three times and I don't see much improvement. He was certainly more valuable to us than them.
Today I saw better screening, rolling, passing and not trying to post up 12’ from the hoop. I wish we still had him.

We would not get the Cliff that is at Alabama. I'd love that Cliff. He hasn't improved. He just isn't doing things he stinks at anymore.

Cliff has been clearly instructed what to do and what not to do while on the court. He had 5 dunks today and his only miss was a 1 foot shot. 66% of his baskets this year are dunks.

Meanwhile, I saw EO try to post up once(Nebraska game) while Ace had the ball on the same side. WTF????

The announcers talked about Alabama not shooting mid range 2's unless they are at the end of the shot clock.

Cliff's final years at RU were spent trying to expand his game to flash for the pros. I'm sure that Pike agreeing to this had to have been in the discussions to keep him in the offseason. It clearly didn't work and Cliff looks better because he's not doing crap that isn't his natural strength.

We also had less offensive options, we needed to find more points, it was not all about expanding Cliff’s game for the pros.

He WOULD be set for life with $1mm (call it $650k after tax) if he was like 80.

That’s a nice nest egg but not that is not what “set for life” means.
Right but if he invests that and doesn’t touch its a lifestyle differentiator at some point. Obviously he needs to continue to generate income.

Some of you are focused on the wrong aspects here. The money was about making life better back home for his family. It's a big deal for Cliff to be able to do this for them when they sacrificed so much to get him to the US to pursue basketball.

Enjoying watching AL v KY, and crying a little. Cliff really has improved. Amaris FTs. No bueno.
Definitely some of his best play in a Bama uniform. The key yesterday was avoiding foul trouble which has plagued him a lot this year.

Still wish he was in Piscataway. Our season would likely be much different with someone as athletic as him protecting the rim.

I wouldn’t say Cliff has improved. He is being used where he excels. I believe Pike felt he had to give Cliff an expanded role last year for two reasons. 1) Cliff wanted to shoot and show NBA teams he could do that and 2) they wanted to keep him around.

In general, he looks like the same player but less active. Alabama asks him to do a fraction of what Rutgers asked.

Also bama has a lot of good offensive players around him. The guard is one of the best in the country.
