We changed our pick and roll defense a few games ago after we got torched by Michigan’s PnR game. Previously, our strategy was for the guard to go over the pick, but that was resulting in a lot of opposing players getting free looks into the lane.
But I noticed a few games ago, the strategy changed, and now our center was hedging and doubling on the screen. It worked against Indiana, and it worked for for first 30 minutes today.
