Would be one of the worst teams I remember making the tournament.

An eight seed in the Horizon with a record of 12-22.
We beat them by 32.

not yet...they reached the Horizon League finals, to play winner of UW-Milwaukee or Wright State...but 12-22 (as of now), and if 13-22, they might have the worst record in terms of # of losses to reach...if they win tomorrow.

My bad. I corrected the title.

Magoo,

I saw that. When we played them, I thought they had a very athletic team. If they learned to shoot, they could hang.

RU beat a tournament team I guess. We could spin it that way.

Back in 2013 Liberty went 6-10 in the Big South (11-20 overall in the regular season) and then won four straight to make the dance, where they lost in a First Four game. They finished the season ranked #266 in KenPom.

Cleveland State is ranked #303, up from #322 at the end of the regular season. Not an exaggeration to say they'd be the worst tournament team ever.

their own conference had one even worse reach the final last season. UW-Milwaukee was 11-23 when they played (and lost to) Northern Kentucky.

Funny thing about the Cleveland State-Wright State game tonight is that 6-12 Cleveland State actually played 14-4 Wright State tough this season splitting the season series with a 4 pt win and an 8 pt loss. Cleveland State also finished quite strong, going 7-4 since February 1st. Wright State is 7-3 over that same time frame.

The last hurrah before the NCAA gives them the death penalty for the sins of assistant coaches at blue blood programs.
