Chris Jones wants a new deal and is threatening to pull a LeVeon according to his twitter.

I imagine this isn't a popular stance here, but it's refreshing to see players know their worth and play the 1 or 2 chips they're given. For Jones, Kylin, and Dak. I don't want to ever see another "good riddance" tweet, because there are less than 1,000 on the planet that can play professional football for more than 2-3 years. There are far fewer who can rush for 1,000 yards in the SEC in a given 4 year period.

This should be seen as a good thing for football by everyone while we see the MLB crater with all-time low salaries without any strife or public grievances (pre-COVID). THAT is a bad sign.

I had a minor operation done in Tupelo yesterday. Before hand this older fella came in to help get everything prepped and he noticed that I was wearing a Titleist State hat and a State baseball Tshirt on. He asked me if I knew who Chris Jones was. I told him and said a few things about him so that the man wouldn’t think I was just saying yes to say yes. He went on to tell me that he was his uncle and that Chris’s mom actually still worked at the Tupelo hospital. I think it shows that he comes from a hard working family if his mom who probably doesn’t have to any longer still gets up and punches a clock.

CJ and Winston Churchhill are made from the same cloth. While visiting FDR in the White House FDR encountered Churchhill in the hall as he was coming out of a bathroom, buck naked. Without missing a beat Churchhill quipped, “The Prime Minister of Great Britain has nothing to hide from the President of the United States.”’
