I never started a thread after last week's episode as we were all so deep in baseball tourney talk. But last week's episode was about as disturbing as anything non news related that I have ever chosen to watch. The makeup team and all is magnificent because the bodies of those working in the plant at zero hour had me squeamish and turning away.
I really do hate to see the series concluding next week. This has been a pseudo look behind the curtain at how things like emergencies and govt failures are handled in countries where the press is about as free as caviar and there is little reguard for the value of human life.
HBO really does miniseries like this as well as they can be done. Reminds me of say, The John Adams from 10-12 years ago. If you're a history buff and haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. I watched it several times then bought a copy to give to my high school baseball coach/history teacher. Paul Giamanti was born to play John Adams.
