Does anyone thing Charlie Strong would make a good college HC?

Disclaimer: This is not a Croom replacement thread. Simply wondering if anyone else thinks Strong would make a good college HC.

One thing that has hurt him with the southern teams is that he has a white wife. I could care less but my b iggest concern is how many African-American head coaches are successful? Not very many.

But to disqualify him from being a head coach just because not many other black head coaches have been successful is a pretty ****** excuse for someone not hiring him. I'm watching the UF/Ark game and he's chewing some *** when players are making mistakes. Croom just looks like he feels sorry for himself. There's a difference in these two black coaches. I've never seen Croom fired up except for when he attempted to walrus around the huge *** M-State banner after the Egg Bowl win.</p>

just my personal opinion. I think he is one of those guys that's a good DC and that's probably about it.

As a Gator fan, I really don't know if he'd be a good HC. To me, he's an average DC, and we've had a TON of talent at his disposal. The last few years we've had a younger defense, but there are times when I wonder wtf he's doing.

How do you know that? Name the interviewers and schools that excluded him from being a head coach because of his wife.

he's not that great of a DC....if he weren't black i personally don't think we would even be discussing his name as a possible head coach replacement.
